Amazingly, all of the news articles below are from just the last few days, and I have not even included financial news articles which are sobering as well. To say that the new year is starting off with signs and wonders would probably be an understatement. What does it mean? I believe that it means that if you are a believer, our blessed hope is getting ever closer, even at the door. If you are not a believer, perhaps these signs will move you to consider that these events were foretold in prophecies. Prophecy is given that seeing them come true, you might believe that God exists, and knowing this, you might receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.

This is a breaking news story. In the past few days, dozens of locations have experienced dead bird and / or fish populations. So far, no one had been able to explain why this is happening.

Famine Coming?
We started seeing news regarding food shortages in the middle of last year, following the sizzling summer in Russia, floods in Pakistan and various other places, and the locust invasion in Australia. This first week of January is continuing and accelerating the warnings of food shortages due to floods and climate changes. We are also being warned almost daily about food price increases.
